No, we do not record our workshop sessions to ensure participant privacy. However, you can download our activity sheets from the Resource Hub and follow along with our YouTube playlist.
The Zoom link is sent to the email you used to register for the workshop. Please check your inbox, including your spam or junk folder. A reminder email with the link is sent one day before the session, and each link is unique to the registrant.
Our workshops are designed to supplement school curriculums as extracurricular activities, not replace them. We invite your students to join our free Write It Workshops, held every Saturday for one hour.
If registration is closed, it means the workshop has reached maximum capacity. We encourage you to sign up for another date, as our workshops run year-round.

Yes, we recommend following the workshops in order. Each session builds on key writing skills, including storytelling, character development, and plot structuring. While starting partway is possible, earlier sessions introduce concepts that may be referenced in later ones.
While we recommend attending all sessions in order, students are welcome to join at any time. Each session covers different aspects of creative writing, so even attending one can be beneficial.
Students should have a notebook or paper and a pen or pencil ready. If they prefer to type, they can use a laptop or tablet.
To create a comfortable and engaging environment for participants, we ask that only registered students attend. However, parents and teachers are welcome to explore our Resource Hub for workshop materials.
Our Write It Workshops are designed for students in grades 4 to 8. However, students in grades 8 to 12 can explore other opportunities to develop their writing skills, share their perspectives, and gain volunteer hours by contributing to our Wave Blog or participating in the Express Inspire Connect Youth Conference. To learn more, visit our Youth Volunteer Opportunities page.
You can cancel your registration using the link provided in your Zoom confirmation email. Alternatively, you can notify us at info@ripplefoundation.ca.
